Inevitably, most of class time is devoted to tangents, so don't be surprised when he teaches you how to dig for oil or about chakirahs in misnagdish and chasidish kaballah. Also, my advice, push him to continue, that way you'll get to learn about all of the strange gizrot and how to conjugate them (this is, of course, if you want to learn Hebrew), because if he gets too sidetracked then some stuff gets left out. |  |
