12/08/20071510 - Multivariable Calculus2.81325NoYou really have no choice because he is the only one who teaches Multi. Through chapter 16 the material is easy if you put in good amount of work because you definitely won't understand him. The certain times that you do understand him, it is because he didn't teach you anything you need that will enable you do the hw or test problems. He generally gives just an overview of the sections. Doesn't show any exmaples (which you need to learn the material), and if he shows examples it is usually 100 % the easiest ones. His tests used to be very straightfoward, but seems like he got a new test bank and is picking the hardest questions on each section. Terrible with partial credit if you make a minus/ or plus in the last step on really long problem you lose at least 5 points. Forget it if you made a mistake in the middle of the problem and continued through the problem you lost at least half. Try to get on his good side (this is done by hocking with him, and making funny jokes) otherwize he grades your tests even worse. He is a nice person, just lacks the necessary skills to be a teacher.

05/25/20071510 - Multivariable Calculus4.03445YesMaterial is very straightforward; if you have the electronic solutions manual the course is nothing. Prof's tests are straight from homework. If you do HW you'll do fine. Sections build on previous sections, so the students who don't do HW get lost and blame professor. Personally thought he's great, very knowledgeable and helpful.
01/07/20071510 - Multivariable Calculus2.01133YesProf. Rosenfeld is a nice guy. He doesn't teach well. You will have to study everything by your own. His tests are not so hard, it is straight questions from the book. And he is a fair grader.
