He knows and loves music and loves teaching it and can do it well. But he can spend half the semester teaching the same stuff day after day to willfully stupid Sy Syms guys. This grows annoying, as do his not particularly easy 3 music assignments which make you feel like your making up crap. You'll get a good grade and its a good class; it just could be better. |  | | 01/06/2008 | 1111A - The Sense of Music | | 5.0 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Yes | No heavy lifting for this class. Attendance only matters in the first half of the semester after which he usually stops taking it. Midterm is easy but the papers are not. You have to break down a musical piece and analyze the sounds, not something you can really prepare for. Most people get good grades.
