He is kind, understanding, funny, well-spoken, and intelligent. While the workload is manageable and the grading is fair, students will most-likely fail the course if they misspell Rabbi Dr. Soloveichik's name. There is no 't'. Highly recommended.

His class is intellectually stimulating and thought provoking. The course deals with relevant questions, and Rabbi Dr. Soloveichik always has astute and keen insight. Classroom atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, but the level of intellectual discussion is (almost) never compromised. As a great speaker, he communicates his ideas clearly and is a pleasure to listen to. Rabbi Dr. Soloveichik was a great pickup for YU, and all his courses are highly recommended.
