02/25/201357202 - Esther Daniel and Diaspora5.05555YesCannot recommend enough. The class is interesting, as Professor Koller knows the material well and provides a very unique perspective, making you look at the texts in ways you never thought of. He's also an extremely nice guy, very approachable, and is very good about answering requests for help in a timely and effective fashion. On top of that, the class is pretty easy, readings every week, a paper on any topic having to do with the class, and an open book open notes ridiculously easy test. Great if you need to fulfill a bible requirement.

04/07/20082605 - Ezekiel4.24535YesGreat guy. Lots of work but well worth it. God grader
01/28/20082605 - Ezekiel4.55544YesProfessor Koller is a "chiller" and a good teacher. Class can be a little dry as he goes through the text verse by verse, however he knows his stuff and brings in interesting material from Tanakh and Ancient Near Eastern sources. He assigns homework every week but it's easy and very worthwhile. His papers are very different but he guides you through them, making it idiot-proof, and his tests are easy, as is his grading. Recommended.

05/10/20072505 - Isaiah3.22425NoProfessor Koller is a nice guy, but not the best of Bible teachers. He jumps around in the material, and requires too much class participation and readings. He even gives quizzes on the readings. He assigns an 8-10 page paper on a difficult topic, and grades harshly. The final is the only easy part. He gives you the questions and answers in advance. Too annoying to deal with the entire semester. If you are looking for a Bible with less work during the semester, go with Carmy or Hurvitz.
