Once you get past all the conceit, she's pretty nice, and probably the only con law professor who won't confuse the hell out of you by trying to unify what is, essentially, piecemeal rulemaking. She tells it like it is, so you can just make arguments and not go insane. She's always traveling the country though so she was pretty much never around. I don't even think she had office hours. Completely unconcerned with student progress. Also don't be scared about coldcalling cause she pretty much only asks dumb stuff like names and dates. If you don't need your hand held you'll do just fine. | | 02/03/2007 | 6501 - Constitutional Law I | | 4.2 | 5 | 5 | 2 | 5 | Yes | Very good professor, top notch. I did awful in her class, but it wasn't because of her. Some people complain she is conservative, which is true, but I felt she did a good job giving both sides on issues. She admits her position, will address the opposition, and does it in an impartial manner. It just happens that her arguments for individual/state's rights are very compelling. I almost fell for them! Luckily, I took Rosenfeld the next semester and rediscovered myself, but honestly, Hamilton is as good as it gets. She has very entertaining stories about her career also. Sometimes, it's a bit much and you can see her saying in her head, "SUPERSTAR!" | | 09/19/2006 | 7502 - Constitutional Law II | | 4.0 | 5 | 3 | 3 | 5 | Yes | Hamilton is a great Con Law professor. Her knowledge of the material is first rate. Class has a lot of back and forth discussion [ 1/1 people found this rating helpful. ] | | 09/18/2006 | 7502 - Constitutional Law II | | 4.2 | 4 | 5 | 3 | 5 | Yes | Best ConLaw professor in the school.
