01/06/2010 | 6703 - Torts | | 5.0 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Yes | You don't get to choose who you take for torts. If it is Stein, see it as a blessing. Oh, and don't bother buying the textbook. I did buy it but NEVER used it. Make SURE you write down every single word that comes off Stein's mouth. I got an A.
07/24/2008 | 7330 - Evidence | | 3.8 | 3 | 5 | 2 | 5 | No | So this teacher is clearly an expert in the field. However, unfortunatly I am not. While he certainlty tried to make sure everyone was following along, and was open to questions, I had a hard time with this class. Final is open all material, but is all MC which is not really really conducive towards this material. Hard class, but worthwhile if you actualy want to go into litigation.
05/08/2008 | 7330 - Evidence | | 4.0 | 5 | 4 | 2 | 5 | Yes | Once you get past the accent he actually is pretty clear. Posts interesting stuff and makes you think in class. His final, however, was a different story. All open book, plenty of time, and still probably the most difficult exam I've taken yet. While the class was really clear I didn't feel prepared for his exam. Wouldn't knock him though. You can tell he really loves this stuff and he's really engaging. Just hold out until week 4 without killing yourself and you'll see. That stuff in the beginning is confusing to everyone.

10/26/2006 | 6703 - Torts | | 4.8 | 4 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Yes | Highly recommended by me. Accent may be an obstacle initially, but once you get used to it, no problems. A considerate and dedicated professor, more concerned with ensuring students learn than most other professors.

09/19/2006 | 7330 - Evidence | | 5.0 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Yes | Stein is awesome. Ok, so it takes a class or two to get his accent down. Too bad he's at Yale this year. Take him for whatever you can. [ 2/2 people found this rating helpful. ]
