While she gives excellent guidance, she does not spoon feed what you need to do so that you can gain experience along the way.
I will assume that the difficulty of the clinic will largely be based upon the project that you are assigned. The case work was incredibly interesting but required a tremendous amount of reading. Because the clinic deals with international human rights issues, the research requires more work than just using westlaw or lexis.
Having been a 2L at the time I did the clinic may have made the writing portion take longer as my legal writing skills were minimal at the time. I now feel more prepared for legal writing but the cost was having spent countless hours in writing and editing of the clinic project. Despite the amount of time required, I highly recommend the clinic and Professor Rosenberg. |  |
