Date | Class | | OQ | C | H | E | K | R | Comments | Flag Rating | 05/01/2008 | N/A - International Law | | 2.8 | 3 | 2 | 3 | 3 | No | She takes class attendance very seriously, probably because she's still young and fairly confident in her abilities as a professor. Much of the class is taught with a heavy slant towards Human Rights - the only thing she probably got into International Law for. If that ain't you're cup of tea then you really should take the class with someone else. She also asks a lot of touchy feely questions in class and relies on students giving their personal opinion rather than relying on solid legal doctrine. | | 01/14/2008 | N/A - International Law | | 4.0 | 4 | 5 | 2 | 5 | Yes | Great class, though she will keep you on your feet. Accepts volunteers, but relies mostly on cold calling. Better know what your talking about... | | 10/19/2006 | 7269 - Int'l Human Rights | | 4.5 | 5 | 5 | 3 | 5 | Yes | Difficulty depends mostly on whether you have taken some form of international law related course before. It is less about doctrine than it is about learning the (sad but hopeful) state of affairs in IHR. Hakimi explains very clearly, sometimes too clearly. There is a lot of reading sometimes, but the textbook is excellent (if huge). [ 1/1 people found this rating helpful. ] | | Number of Ratings: 3 Want to add a Rating? Click Here | |
